Compassionate Leadership Philosophy
I believe that leadership is a privilege. Something in our circumstances, talents, ambitions and efforts led us to a place of leadership. Once we are there we have a responsibility to lead from our higher self, our greater good – our values. When we recognize the impact we have on others and on our organizations and our world, we can fully develop ourselves, our ideas, and our teams to meet that greater good.
To build successful businesses with soul. Not only does that allow us to truly build our businesses and find significant financial success, it also allows us to more fully step into who we are as people and who our companies can be in our global community.
Build your capacity to lead and create meaningful change.
Creating and sustaining organizational change is about understanding WHO you are as a leader, WHY you want the change you do, and HOW you manage resistance and create readiness for change. My approach is based on bringing together the best business models for conscious leadership and managing change.
I am a leadership development coach, strategist, and culture creator who has worked with global, high-growth companies from start-ups to established public firms.
My goal is to help you make it easy to create the results you want in your business.
I have extensive experience as a creator of thriving, values-based cultures and builder of leaders in Canada, USA, UK and Asia. Over the last 20 years, my experience includes:
- Organizational Development Consultant for more than 22,000 employees at one of BC’s 2014 Best Workplaces, Fraser Health Authority
- Vice-President of Human Resources globally for Peer 1 Hosting
- Director of HR for Davis & Company, LLP
- Director of Corporate Services for Information Balance
- Director of Customer Service for Pathfinder Learning Systems
I have worked with rapidly growing companies through all stages of change and growth – acquisitions, mergers, and organizational change. My work focuses on providing tools that can be used by leaders of all levels to create and sustain meaningful change.

Where did I learn to do what I do? Some of my credentials include:
- Masters Degree in Leadership at Royal Roads University, 2014
- Certified Coach (ACC) trained by Integral Coaching Canada
- Honours BA from the University of Toronto
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) since 2005
- 20 years management and executive experience
My approach is grounded in proven models that provide clear processes and steps for organizations and individual leaders. My goal as a consultant and coach is to give you the tools to leverage the greatest results on your own, not to rely on an external “expert”. We will look at where you are now, what you need to strengthen, and how to get you where you want to go.
I bring a visionary approach to creating and managing change while still engendering so much loyalty that employees will literally tattoo the company logo on their bodies – ask me about that one!
I am a frequent public speaker for companies and universities, so please get in touch if you’d like to know more. I am the Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the International Coach Federation, Vancouver.
